YB Rosey Binti Haji Yunus is the Elected Representative of the Bekenu Constituency N.71 and member of the State Legislature. Appointed as An Assistant Minister in the State Cabinet entrusted with the Portfolio of Early Childhood Education and Family Development.
The honourable is 56 years old, Received her higher education in Malay University, graduated in the year 1980 with the degree in Malay Studies – majoring in Linguistic Art and Diploma in Education.
After her graduation, she started her carrier as an ordinary School Teacher, Senior Assistant for students’ affair, Senior Assistant 1, and Principal, and had once served for 8 years in The Divisional Education Department, Miri. YB’s last attachment is at SM Sains Miri until April, 2006. After which YB Puan Rosey contested in the 9th State Election as a BN candidate and won the seat for DUN N.71 – BEKENU.
Since the year 2008 until 2011, YB Rosey Binti Hj Yunus was appointed as the Chair person for Miri Port Authority. With effect from September, 2011 until now YB Rosey has been appointed as the Assistant Minister of Early Childhood Education & Family Development in the State Cabinet. | |
